PRIVACY & LEGAL

THE SHORT VERSION

TimeStop has no accounts and never asks who you are. We never collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or location. Leaderboards use a made-up player name and a random id. Ads come from Google, and crash reports go to Sentry — those are the only third parties involved.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO SIGN-IN

There is nothing to sign up for and no way to log in. Your player name is picked from a built-in word list — the app has no free-text input, so you can never type personal information into it.

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

Your progress, stars, hearts, statistics, and settings are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app (or clearing its data in system settings) deletes all of it.

LEADERBOARDS (DAILY & WEEKLY)

When you play a daily or weekly challenge, the app uploads your result so it can appear on the global leaderboard:

• the date and the target time,
• how far off you were, in milliseconds,
• your generated player name,
• a random player id.

The id is a UUID created inside the app on first run — it is not derived from your device and cannot be traced back to you. This data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States, and top results are visible to other players.

DUELS

Duels are relayed live between the two players over a temporary channel identified by the room code you share. Your generated name and round results are exchanged with your opponent during the duel and are not stored on any server afterward.

ADVERTISING (GOOGLE ADMOB)

TimeStop shows a small banner ad and lets you choose to watch a rewarded ad to refill hearts. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device information such as your advertising id and IP address to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. You can reset or delete your advertising id anytime in your device’s Google settings.

CRASH REPORTING (SENTRY)

If the app crashes or hits an error, a report is sent to Sentry so the bug can be fixed. Reports contain technical details only: device model, operating-system version, app version, and the error itself. They are never used for advertising.

THIS WEBSITE

timestop.jiss.tech is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects nothing. Standard, short-lived server logs are kept by our hosting provider (Vercel). Fonts are served by Google Fonts.

DATA DELETION

Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device. Leaderboard entries contain no personal information, but if you want yours removed, email us your player name and roughly when you played, and we will delete the entries.

CHILDREN

TimeStop does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — the app has no way to enter any.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here and ships with an app update, and the effective date above moves forward.
